Skyrim as a GAAS

The goal of this exercise was to choose a game and change the economic model. We took The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, a premium game, and we turned it into a Game as a Service (GAAS). We had to adapt some mechanics and create new gameplay to match with this model.

Main modifications:

  • Adding multiplayer

  • Housing

  • Hall of Fame

  • Shop and Hard Currency

  • Events and DLC

We were a group of four Game Designers. My main work was the part about the Hall of Fame and the housing. I also contributed to the dungeons leveling and rewards.
