Sinner's Crusade

Sinner's Crusade is a Fast FPS, made in Unity. It takes place nowadays in Greece. Hades managed to imprison the Olympus Gods at the bottom of Tartarus and opened the Hell's gates, letting his monsters invade the Earth. However, the Gods, by combining their powers, succeed in summoning a Champion, whose duty is  to defeat the master of the underworld.

The gameplay finds inspiration from the nervous, highly dynamic FPS games like Doom or Shadow Warrior. The levels are mostly linear, and the goal is to make your path through them by fighting dozens of enemies. You start with a melee weapon and your Allegiance powers (explained below). After killing an non-melee enemy, you can grab his firearm (assault rifles, shotguns, hand canons, etc...) to shoot the others and keep yourself safe from the crowd. Once your weapon is empty, you can throw it in the face of a monster to make it explode, and then repeat the previous steps to progress.

On this project, in was in charge of the VFX, and I also created a whole section of the gameplay: the Gods Allegiance system, which allows the player to choose one of the eight proposed gods of Olympus. Each one has a minor capacity, a melee weapon, and an ultimate capacity.

This project was unfortunately a failure, due in majority to problems inside the development team. However, I made my part of the work, and you can see all the VFX in the video below.
