Mafia Hunter

Mafia Hunter is a Fast FPS, made in the Unreal Engine.

This project was headed by a single keyword: "Invincibility"

We had 12 days to create a game on Unreal based on this theme.

The core gameplay is simple: trapped in a building, the player has to fight endless waves of enemies. They can kill the character with a few shots, and to avoid to lose all progress, the player must kill enemies to become invincible.

The bonus lasts for five seconds, and the player must use this time to find a cover, reload his weapon or killing another enemy to reset the timer.

Each kill also increases the player's score, and the kills series grants a bonus multiplier.

Taking damage makes the multiplier decrease, so the player must use the covers and study the position and timing of the enemies to be more efficient.

However, the character's ammunition is limited, and the enemies become more and more resilient, so he must retreat in the bunker. Then, the score is converted to money and the wave counter is set back to zero. With his money, the player can buy and upgrade his weapons, start over from the first wave and try to progress further with his better weapons.

On this project, I helped to conceive the gameplay and was in charge of the VFX, and the UI. I made the needed textures on Photoshop to build the assets in the engine.

I also realized some props in Blender to help the Game Artists, and made the logo.
